The Y6 is a lightweight encapsulated AC yoke designed for reliable one-person inspection. It is easy to use single-handed and its articulated legs make it ideal for inspecting components of different sizes and shapes.

The Y7 gives you the option of two magnetic fields: a constant AC field to reveal surface defects or a pulsed DC field for revealing both surface and near-surface defects. Designed for portable one-person inspection, its articulated legs contour to any part shape to assure good contact.

Crafted from Magloy 1 to ensure maximum magnetic field strength, the YM5 does not need an electrical supply, making it a truly portable and convenient way of magnetising components for crack detection.

• Supplied with a keeper bar so you can easily check the magnetisation strength.
• Hinged arms and rotating pole pieces allow a wide variety of profiles to be magnetised.
• Easy removal of the pole pieces from the component.
• Gauss pull test: > 18 Kg lift
